In one instance, the game said that the savegame can't be loaded because some update was not installed (which may well refer to a preorder flag - e.g. I heard that people reinstalled the game on a different drive and then couldn't load their savegames. What I think in regards to savegames: Since they (supposedly, as confirmed by some users) completely ignore one's (global and per-game) Steam cloud settings and use the cloud regardless, and since they have this stupid micro-transaction thing going on with this game, I suspect that the savegames themselves are wired to not work eventually. And once you know about the Steam cloud limit issues with this game, you can limit yourself to under 50 savegames and will theoretically never have a problem. You only need one savegame at the very start of the game where you unlock all your storage-stuff, which is easy to keep around. While I'd use the word "fraud" in regards to the one-use preorder bonuses (Because it was not reasonable to expect that, so they had to inform us but didn't.), I think you're distorting things completely here. Or in other words, it's a scam to force people to buy more microtransactions. If they ♥♥♥♥ up FF15 like they did this game, it's not worth my money. I'm strongly reconsidering whether I buy another Squenix game, Final Fantasy 15 included.

Got it to load up tho with the CPY crack, but when the game would start I get a crash, so you may try the CPY crack thingy and the DLC disabling, maybe itll work out. Hell, I didn't even get the Season Pass, even though it gave the person 5 extra Praxis Kits. I saw a few comments about the DLC-s that for some people it worked if they disabled it, you can overwrite a few ini. I was never going to do microtransactions anyway. Once I finish this playthrough, I can delete all the save files, and reload my backups. Thanks to Jimquisition for pointing me in the right direction so that I figured it out.

I've been forced to delete over 200 save files at this point, maybe 300, and there's no way of getting it back. I politely asked them to put it on the schedule, and I've not heard back since. I heard back from Steam support, and they told me there is no timeline for a tool to be created that would allow gamers direct access to their Steam cloud data and be able to delete it directly.
